Toby Barrett acknowledged the upcoming sale of the Normandale beach in a phone call on Wednesday.
Barrett said the property was listed in May of 2018 by the Province of Ontario and the municipality originally expressed interest in purchasing the land.
The MPP continued by saying the Ontario government is open to reengaging with the municipality regarding the sale.
