
One person is in custody and police are continuing to search for another suspect in connection to a homicide on Monday.
Members of the West Region OPP are assisting the Six Nations Police Service with the case.
This afternoon they released the identity of the deceased, 27-year old Andrew DAVIS of Six Nations of the Grand River Territory.
Yesterday, police charged 24-year-old Andrew Brent SMOKE of Six Nations of the Grand River Territory with First Degree Murder.
A warrant has been issued for 22-year-old Eric Jerome SMOKE.
Police believe he may be heading towards Hamilton but say his current whereabouts are unknown.
Smoke is described as an indigenous male, 5’11, 148 pounds, black hair, brown eyes and gold teeth.
He has a “SMOKE” banner tattoo around a skull and rose on his left arm.
Police say the suspect is considered to be possibly armed and dangerous, adding that no attempt should be made to approach the suspect.
