Fiedler Meats is getting some much appreciate funding through the Canadian Agricultural Partnership.
Both members of the Provincial and Federal government were in Simcoe today announcing that the local facility was receiving $57,000.
That was Minister of Agriculture, Food, and Rural Affairs Ernie Hardeman who was joined by MPP Toby Barrett and Parliamentary Secretary Neil Ellis.
Fiedler Meats will be matching the $57,000 in funding as well.
Brian Fiedler was on hand and said this result in more jobs being created down the road as it frees up current staff for future expansions and endeavours which will result in the need for more people in the future.
Together, the Federal and Provincial Government is providing more than $5.4 million to the Canadian Agricultural Partnership to help food processing businesses.
