Haldimand and Norfolk County are moving into Stage 2 of the province’s reopening.
During their press conference, the province announced that today marked the lowest day-over-day increase since late March and that we have now processed over 1-million test results.
Premier Doug Ford announced that seven new health unit regions would be moving into Stage 2 on Friday.
Ford explained that moving into Stage 2 was based on positive trends of key public health indicators at the local level.
Stage 2 means that hairdressers, personal care services (except for facial services), malls with food courts restricting access to take out, pools, splash pads, more camping, beaches, libraries, community centres and more will be able to reopen.
Only three health unit regions remain in Stage 1 now, Peel, Toronto and Windsor-Essex.
