An update from Mayor Kristal Chopp shows that the number of confirmed COVID-19 cases at Scotlynn Group has gone up yet again.
In a late-night post from the Mayor, she confirmed that 120 individuals have tested positive.
Seven people are currently in the hospital with the virus.
CTV does report that two of those 7 are in the ICU.
Mayor Chopp also says employees at a store in Vittoria where the migrant workers shopped are also being tested but this is simply a precaution.
The Health Unit is working closely with Scotlynn and the Delhi Community Health Centre.
Chopp reiterated that the owners of Scotlynn followed health protocols and isolated their workers at hotels for 14-days prior to allowing them to work out on the field.
More updates will be provided in the coming days regarding how this situation occurred at the farm.
