Some changes to Roulston’s in Simcoe go into effect today (Friday).
The Wellness Centre on Donley Drive will be closing their doors and switching to a virtual model.
This means staff will be on hand to fill prescriptions through phone or online but customers will not be allowed to enter the building.
Any prescription can then be delivered or picked up at the Downtown Simcoe location.
Owner Mark Stephens said this is all to maintain safety for everyone involved, noting that when you do go to the Downtown location there are some restrictions in place as well.

Patients seeing a doctor at the facility will be allowed access in but if you do not have an appointment, you are being asked to call your doctor first instead of stopping by.
Stephens adds that if you are low on your prescriptions, it’s best to get them filled before you run out.
That being said, he said they are taking these measures to make sure they remain open to customers and there is no need to stockpile on prescriptions and put more pressure on the system.
