The Simcoe Farmers’ Market is letting people know that they will be closed until further notice.
They explain that following the news that Ontario had declared a State of Emergency and social gatherings of more than 50 people had been prohibited, they would have to close, effective immediately.
There is a new online store available for customers to access.
If you are a new customer, the Market asks that you email them at info@heritagelaneproduce.com to set up an account.
The Market explains that future operations and programming will be re-evaluated regularly and communicated to vendors and the public as soon as they can.
While they understand the news may be an inconvenience, they want to emphasize that the health and wellbeing of staff, vendors and the public is their top priority.
