The Norfolk General Hospital announced that the Norfolk Hospital Nursing Home has finished the makeover of their palliative room.
The Long Term Care Home, originally built in 1975, is home to 80 residents.
Several years ago, a private palliative care room was created and, thanks to a $35,000 grant from the Aberdeen Foundation in 2018, the makeover was undertaken.
A release from the NGH explains that the remodeled space now matches the high quality, compassionate end of life care the staff provides to residents and their families.
