It’s demolition day at the former Nanticoke Power Plant.
Last year, the stacks were brought down and now it’s time to get rid of the buildings on the property.
Haldimand Road 55 will be closed at Rainham Road until 11 a.m. this morning while the buildings are imploded.
The OPP is committed to public safety and will be on scene during the road closure.
The OPP Marine Unit will also be patrolling the area on Lake Erie.
