L-P-R-C-A ISSUES WATERSHED CONDITIONS STATEMENT
3/13/2018 7:00:10 AM
Officials with the Long Point Region Conservation Authority say water bodies across the region remain unsafe, particularly for children.
Water levels have declined to near seasonal levels, but children are cautioned to stay away from ditches, rivers, and streams due to slippery banks and cold, fast-flowing water.
Lake Erie levels are the highest seen since 1998.
Meanwhile, the L-P-R-C-A has issued a Watershed Conditions Statement, which will remain in effect until next week.
