TURKEY POINT PROVINCIAL PARK LOOKING IS LOOKING TO RID ITSELF OF PHRAGMITES
1/9/2018 7:47:46 AM

Phragmites may get cut, burned, and sprayed out of Turkey Point Provincial Park.

Paperwork has been sent in the Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry for the go-ahead that would see Ontario Parks take a stab at this invasive species.

That was Turkey Point Provincial Park Superintendent Jeff Pickersgill.

An environmental assessment needs to be done before this process can get underway.
