WINTER-LIKE WEATHER TO HIT THE COUNTY TONIGHT
11/9/2017 7:56:08 AM

The first dose of winter-like weather is fast approaching in Haldimand-Norfolk.

Much of the province will be getting a blast of winter this evening.

Environment Canada has issued snow squall watches for the area.

The weather agency says conditions are ripe for lake effect snow with a cold front expected to track over southern Ontario today, and as it passes, temperatures will drop and scattered rain showers will change to snowfall.

Travel tonight is expected to be icy and slippery.

We could see up four centimeters with the temperature dropping to minus eight overnight.
