A local farm is having a massive outreach across the world.

Fox Seeds, based out of Norfolk County, have exclusive rights to grow, market, and harvest varieties of asparagus from the University of Guelph Breeding Program.

Executive Director Bernie Solymar says they have been off to a great start in North America, but plans to get even bigger.

Right now, trials are underway in the U.K., Poland, Germany, northern Spain, Portugal, and Russia to study how asparagus grows in these regions.

Most of the Fox Seeds asparagus crops are Guelph Milleniums, with Guelph Eclipse being newer to their sales and Guelph Equinox set to be released by 2020.
