SIMCOE'S FARMERS MARKET ENTERS ITS 2ND PHASE OF REPAIRS
10/11/2017 7:33:08 AM

The second round of repairs to the Simcoe's Farmers Market is now underway.

Two years ago, the Haldimand-Norfolk Health United cited several concerns on site and ordered that improvements needed to be made to the Homecraft building that was built in 1953.

Resurfacing the old concrete floor in the building will keep the indoor market closed until the 19th of October.

Supervisor of the market Mark Boerkamp says there will be no cost the taxpayer.

In the meantime, vendors will set up shop outdoors beginning on Thursday.
