TRIO CONQUERS LAKE ERIE, HAVE EYES SET ON LAKE ONTARIO
8/9/2017 5:06:45 AM

Three men from Norfolk County are getting set to take on Lake Ontario by paddle board.

After successfully crossing Lake Erie in July, Tyler Backus, Kodie Peekstok, and Jonah Logan are getting set to cross Lake Ontario to raise more funds and awareness for Norfolk Association for Community Living and Community Living Access Support Services (CLASS).

The trio accepted the challenge from a 63-year-old Port Hope man who will attempt to row solo across the Atlantic Ocean this fall.

Colin Sanders believes it will take him a million strokes and has challenged all Community Living Access in Ontario to raise awareness by completing one million strokes for their community.

We spoke with NACL's Maeghan Lampman

The three men will be honored at the Waterford Farmer's Market on Wednesday.

It's a chance for the community to support the trio and learn more about A Million Possibilities Norfolk and how you can make a difference.
