GM RECALLS 700,000 TRUCKS FOR FAULTY POWER STEERING
8/8/2017 7:38:11 AM
General Motors is recalling almost 700-thousand Chevrolet and G-M pickup trucks over a steering issue.
The company says the 2014 Chevy Silverado L-D and G-M-C Sierra L-D may have a software problem that causes a brief loss of the trucks' electric steering assistance.
Owners of the involved trucks can take the vehicle into a dealer for a free software update to fix the problem.
G-M says 80-thousand vehicles are in Canada.
