GOLFERS AIM TO HELP NGH PURCHASE NEW HOSPITAL BEDS AND STRETCHERS

The Norfolk General Hospital is getting some much-needed help to purchase new hospital beds and stretchers.

On Monday, some 300 plus golfers will tee off for the Hospital Foundation's 28th Annual Golf Classic

NGH Communication specialist Gerry Hamill says these new beds and stretchers will provide better mobility, safety, and comfort for both patients and staff.

No government funding is available for the new equipment.

During the three-day golf tournament (July 17th to the 19th) plenty of items will be up for auction at the Norfolk Golf & Country Club with all proceeds going towards the cause.

There will also be a chance to win two seats to any WestJet destination.
