Elder abuse is something we all should be familiar with but would you recognize it if you saw it?

Every June marks World Elder Abuse Awareness.

We spoke with Central East Regional Consultant with Elder Abuse Ontario, Raeann Rideout.

She adds there are many actions seniors and community members can take to prevent elder abuse including reading all legal documents carefully, not lending money with a formal payback schedule and being careful when co-signing loans.
