Police are investigating a theft at the Source in Simcoe.
The Norfolk OPP say two men entered that store between 10:30 and 10:45 a.m. on Tuesday and removed merchandise.
Both men entered a vehicle parked nearby and fled the area.
The first suspect is described as a white male, thin with a short build, approximately 5'3, wearing a white t-shirt and jeans and was seen carrying a white plastic bag.
The second suspect is described as a white male, approximately 5'3, 230-240 lbs, unshaven, wearing black coloured shirt and shorts. He was observed walking with a noticeable limp.
The vehicle was described as an older style grey coloured Volkswagen with plain rims.
Anyone with information is being asked to contact the authorities.
A driver is lucky to be walking away with only minor injuries after swerving off the road to avoid an animal.
The Norfolk OPP say on Tuesday night, a vehicle was going down Highway 19 in Middleton when the saw a raccoon in their path.
The driver swerved, entered a ditch, and rolled the vehicle.
The 24-year-old female driver received minor injuries and was transported to the hospital.
Police are reminding the public always to try to expect the unexpected when it comes to wildlife on the road.
Lit firecrackers were thrown at a vehicle in Simcoe.
Police say on Tuesday, at around 6 p.m., a car was traveling down Queensway East when a passenger in another vehicle rolled down their window and proceeded to pelt the other car with lit firecrackers.
The driver was startled but was able to safely stop their vehicle without becoming involved in a collision.
The suspect vehicle was described as a red coloured Jeep Cherokee.
Police are continuing to investigate.
