TWO INJURED IN LANGTON BARN FIRE

Two people were injured in a fire that destroyed a barn near Langton.

Norfolk Fire and Rescue Services were called to the blaze last night at 1516 10th Concession Road.

Norfolk's Fire Prevention Officer Scott Pipe said a woman received burn wounds while trying to remove items from the barn.

A firefighter was taken to hospital with smoke inhalation.

Both were treated at the hospital, and both will be okay.

Damage has been pegged at $500,000.

The barn contained tractors, farm equipment, and personal recreation vehicles.

The cause is under investigation.
