THE PARENT BAZAAR INVADES THE AUD ON SATURDAY

For some people in Norfolk County, this Saturday is just another day, but for parents with young children -- it's a big one.

The Parent Bazaar comes to the AUD in Simcoe where parents, businesses, and community groups set up shop.

Organizer Nicole Chapple says for the last seven years this "parent to parent" event has grown, with last year seeing 120 tables set up and over 800 shoppers in the limited few hours they are open.

Chapple says this year over 140 tables will be set up with lots of stuff for the kids.

Community groups are also there to provide resources and information.

The cost $2 to come in, but kids are free.

Some booths do take debit but not all so bring cash - there is an ATM on site in case it does slip your mind.

It runs from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. with free grab bags for the first 100 shoppers.
