LOCAL MAN TO LEARN HIS FATE IN THE ONGOING PROJECT GREYMOUTH CASE
4/18/2017 8:01:19 AM

Last week, Anna Thiessen was acquitted of all charges in the ongoing Project Greymouth case and today her husband Johan will learn his fate.

Johan is facing possession for the purpose of trafficking charges after cocaine and meth were found in the Thiessen home.

The Thiessen's say they had no idea the drugs were there, which were discovered deep inside a crawl space, and that Abraham and Franz Klassen had been hiding the drugs in their household without their knowledge.

Abraham and Franz Klassen have previously pleaded guilty to smuggling cocaine from Mexico into Norfolk County and selling it locally after they were arrested in connection with an undercover police investigation.

Johan's trial starts again this morning, as some evidence has been presented that may link Johan to the Klassens.

The jury is expected to come up with their verdict later today.
