A 56-year old man from New Credit is going to be cooling his heels for the next week - and maybe longer - after a stunt driving incident.

The Haldimand OPP say they clocked a vehicle going 130 km/hr in an 80 km/hr zone on Haldimand Road 55 in Jarvis.

The driver has had his license suspended and his vehicle impounded for seven days. He's been charged with stunt driving, which carries with it a minimum fine of $2,000 and six demerit points for a first offense. He has also been accused of driving while under suspension.
