FIRE CAUSES $150,000 DAMAGE TO DELHI HOME

Fire has caused extensive damage to a Delhi home. Early Friday evening (March 17) Norfolk Fire and Rescue Services was called out to a Church Street house to battle the blaze.   Fire Prevention Officer Scott Pipe tells myFM that no one was home at the time of the fire and the family cat was found unharmed.
    
The investigation into the cause of the fire is ongoing but it is not considered suspicious. In the ends those flames caused an estimate $150,000 in damage but the home was insured. The family is not expected to return home for an extended period of time.
