PORT DOVER COMMUNITY LUNCHEON GETS A NEW LOCATION
2/17/2017 7:20:40 AM

A Christmas Miracle on Valentines Day.

Volunteers at the Port Dover Community Luncheon went before our elected officials on Tuesday hoping for some generosity.

Each year, the group uses the St. Paul's Anglican Church to serve up a full Christmas meal to those in need but that service is no longer available to them as they have run out of space.

Last year alone they saw 150 come in for a meal.

Norfolk County councilors agreed, in principal, to allow the group to use the Port Dover Community Centre and kitchen from December 24th to 26th.

A staff report will come back to verify that everything is clear for the group to use the facility free of charge.
