Police say it could have been much worse. Investigators with the Norfolk OPP say only one person suffered minor injuries after a transport and tanker truck collided at the intersection of the Blueline and St. Johns Road. It happened Thursday morning, and police say charges are pending.

The Norfolk OPP are looking to speak with two alleged shoplifters. Police say on Monday, at around 6:10 p.m., a man and woman entered the Real Canadian Superstore in Simcoe and removed merchandise. They were last seen running eastbound through the parking lot.

Norfolk County Council is giving the go-ahead to allow more seating at Talbot Gardens. $90,000 will be spent to provide some temporary fixes to some sections of seating at each end of the arena and provide access to the top walking area around the bleachers.

A devastating fire in Windham Centre. Officials with Norfolk Fire and Rescue Services say 16 chickens perished in a barn fire on Windham Lane. Norfolk's Fire Prevention Officer Scott Pipe said firefighters did a good job saving a nearby home as flames were spreading towards it.
