Prices are going up yet again for Natural Gas customers in Ontario. The Ontario Energy Board has approved rate increases for Union Gas that will see a $20 a year increase for customers in Southern Ontario.

The Norfolk OPP is hoping that a new lead will help with their investigation of a fatal hit-and-run in Delhi. On Friday, 72-year-old Sally Ann Dollard was struck and killed by a vehicle on King Street, and the driver failed to remain at the scene.

FALSE 911 CALLS CAUSING HEADACHES FOR THE OPP AND BURNING HOLES IN YOUR WALLET

False 911 emergency calls continue to be a problem for police in Norfolk County and its taxpayers alike. According to stats from the OPP, they get on average over 2,000 911 hang up calls per year with each call costing ratepayers roughly $150 for officers to respond and clear the incident.

THREE FACING CHARGES AFTER DRUG BUST IN DUNNVILLE

Three people in Haldimand are facing several charges in connection with a major drug bust in Dunnville. The Haldimand OPP, along with officers from the Norfolk Street Crime Unit, raided a home on Logan Road and seized a significant amount of drugs and drug paraphernalia.

MAN FACING STUNT DRIVING CHARGES

A 56-year old man from New Credit is going to be cooling his heels for the next week - and maybe longer - after a stunt driving incident. The Haldimand OPP say they clocked a vehicle going 130 km/hr in an 80 km/hr zone on Haldimand Road 55 in Jarvis.
