Haldimand OPP are investigating after unknowns scattered razor blades on a homeowner's property. Police say between July 15 and July 21 unknowns attended a Park Street West address in Selkirk and placed razor blades in different areas on the property.

SIGNS DAMAGED AND REMOVED NEAR WATERFORD ARENA

Mischief and theft in Waterford. The Norfolk OPP say during the early morning hours on Thursday unknowns attended the Waterford Arena and damaged a sign located at the dog park. The suspects then attended baseball diamond two and removed a sign.

COMPANY STEPS UP TO HELP SCOUTS AFTER CANOES WERE STOLEN

A week after having their canoes stolen the 1st South Brant Scouts now get to see how generous people can be. Last weekend 4 canoes were sitting on a trailer at a home of one of the scout leaders in Waterford but when they woke up the next day the trailer was missing.

COUNTY ORDERED TO SHUTDOWN OPP SHOOTING RANGE

Norfolk County can forget about its lease agreement with the Norfolk OPP over the use of its firing range just south of Waterford. A judge has ordered the county to terminate the shooting range and pay the legal fees spent by neighbours who filed the suit.

The 37th Annual Grand River ?Champion of Champions? Powwow gets underway tonight. It's an Aboriginal Multicultural event that showcases their rich art heritage, ?pride? in music, dance, arts and crafts. Event Chair Charlene Bomberry says it all takes place at Chiefswood Park.

Farmers in the county are being to asked to keep their field irrigation systems from spraying water onto the roadways. The incident on Highway 3 between Scott Street and Fertilizer Road happened early Tuesday morning.

Firefighters have managed to get a large field fire under control. The Norfolk County Fire Department was contacted around 3:30 p.m. about a sizable blaze on Concession 2 heading towards a building located on the property.
