ROUTINE TRAFFIC STOP LEADS TO GUN AND DRUG CHARGES

Three men from the county are facing several charges after police claim they found meth inside of a vehicle during a routine traffic stop in Simcoe. The drug bust happened Thursday on John Street North. A passenger was also charged with possession of a weapon.

The battle over the Norfolk Inn has officially started. As a backstory for those not aware, the Norfolk Inn was purchased during a tax sale last year only to have an interested party come in on behalf of the original owner and pay back the back taxes owed at the last minute.

5 km of ice water, monkey bars, foam pits and much much more. It's time for the 4th annual Blood, Sweat, and Cheers in Port Dover! It's a fun but challenging event that goes to help two local elementary schools: Lakewood and St. Cecilia's.

PURINA WALK FOR DOG GUIDES GOES THIS SUNDAY IN PORT DOVER

Several people are getting set to lace up for this Sunday's Purina Walk for Dog Guides in Port Dover. The national fundraiser helps raise money to train Dog Guides. In the last two years, close to $13,000 has been raised locally.

WANTED MAN ARRRESTED IN HALDIMAND COUNTY

A man on the run from Hamilton Police was found hiding in Haldimand County. On Wednesday afternoon, the owner of a Latvian Sportsman Club on Grand Sports Road in York found a man inside of his establishment.

DESPITE THE RAIN, WATER RESTRICTIONS NOW IN PLACE IN NORFOLK COUNTY

Water Restrictions are now in effect for Norfolk. Until September 15th, residents in Courtland, Delhi, Port Dover, Port Rowan, Simcoe, St. Williams, and Waterford will have to limit their outdoor use of water to 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. and 7 p.m. until 10 p.m.
